This Day in Comic History: February 24th

On this day in 1998, we lost the creator of Spy vs. Spy.

Antonio Prohias was a long time Mad contributor after leaving Cuba in 1960, due to his disagreements with the new Cuban leader, Fidel Castro. He continued to work for Mad for almost 30 years, mostly on his original creation Spy vs. Spy. And sadly, 15 years ago he passed away from cancer. So today, we honor Mr. Prohias.
